This morning, when watching the Today show on MSNBC, I saw the headline “Twas the day after Christmas”. I saw TWAS several times but I didn’t pay much attention because I could guess its meaning, “it was”. But this time I googled its definition and found out the first use in a lovely poem by Clement Clarke Moore (1779-1863). Twas two days after Christmas here
