This evening, when returning home from work I saw this phenomenon in the East (the Sun was behind me) so I stopped my scooter and took some pics. This one was the best I think. I immediately thought about the Buddha’s birthday because Buddhists have been celebrating it (10 May). I also thought about the appearing of Maitreya (the last Buddha) on the Earth. Has it been time yet and was this his halo? Was it the moon light? It’s the 15th of the fourth month in lunar calendar and the full Moon appeared early. I’m proud of capturing this regardless of what it was
